Tax

Tax compliance and advisory activities are a core consideration for all businesses. Tax technology is the use of software, data and analytics, and AI to automate and streamline tax processes, such as calculating, reporting and filing taxes. Tax technology can help organisations ensure they comply with the tax laws and regulations both in the UK and globally, as well as improve the accuracy and efficiency of their tax operations.

Our specialists focus either on advising clients and delivering bespoke tax software solutions (tax technology consulting) or innovating our own tax processes to deliver leading client service/technology where we undertake tax work on behalf of clients (national tax technology).
Technology is rapidly changing the tax landscape, leading to significant opportunities for innovation. Tax digitalisation is a global trend that is transforming the way tax authorities collect and use tax information. In the UK, HMRC’s flagship initiative, “Making Tax Digital”, aims to make tax administration more effective, efficient and easier for taxpayers.

Tax technology consulting

We help our client organisations design, implement and optimise tax technology solutions that can handle the complexity and volume of tax data, as well as adapt to the changing tax landscape. We use data analytics to analyse tax data to help flag potential errors and identify opportunities for improvement.
