Exams and on-the-job training


When you join us, we’ll help you balance your professional exams and on-the-job training. 

As a school leaver, there are different opportunities available within our different solutions. These include:  
  • Accounting: AAT qualification with the Association of Accounting Technicians for the first two years, followed by the ACA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) for the remaining three years. 
    If you are based in Scotland, you will complete the AAT first then the Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS). If you are based in Ireland, you will complete the AAT first then the Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI). 
    If you join our risk and governance solution you will initially study towards IAP (Internal Audit Practitioner) qualification followed by the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) qualification.
  • Business: Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CDMA) 
  • Digital and data:  Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) degree Level 6

When you join as a graduate the different career programme pathways include: 
  • Accounting: ACA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), or your Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) or with Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) (three years). 
    If you join our risk and governance solution you will initially study towards the CIA qualification (Certified Internal Auditor) for 18 months, followed by the CMIIA qualification (Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors) for the remaining 18 months.
  • Business: Certificate in Management Accounting (CIMA) certificate followed by a qualification relevant to the business area you are joining
  • Digital and data: Certificate in Management Accounting (CIMA) certificate followed by the Digital and Technology Solutions (DTS) degree
